Terms of use
Last updated: 21 October 2026 · Versione italiana (the Italian version prevails in case of discrepancies)
These terms govern the use of the Chisly app, provided by Vanessa Larivei, Torino, Italy ("we"). By signing up you accept these terms and acknowledge the privacy policy.
1. The service
Chisly lets you create a wishlist, share it with friends, write down gift ideas and organise group gifts with proposals, reservations and votes. The app is free. Chisly does not sell products: links to shops lead to third-party websites, where any purchase happens directly and under their terms.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. You agree to provide a valid email address, keep your password safe and not create accounts for or on behalf of other people. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
3. Rules of conduct
When using Chisly you agree not to:
- post content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit or that infringes the rights of others;
- write sensitive personal information about other people in notes, proposals or comments;
- use usernames or photos that impersonate someone else;
- send spam or misleading or harmful links;
- try to access other users' data, bypass visibility rules or disrupt the service;
- use the app for commercial purposes without our consent.
4. Your content
The content you add (wishes, notes, proposals, comments, profile photo) remains yours. You only grant us a free, limited permission to store it and show it to the people you choose, for as long as needed to run the app. You can delete it at any time.
5. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account whenever you want from the app (how). We may remove content or suspend an account that breaches these terms or the law; in non-serious cases we will warn you first where possible. We may also discontinue the service, giving at least 30 days' notice so you can save what you need.
6. Availability and liability
We work to keep Chisly running and secure, but the app is provided free of charge and "as is": we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We are not responsible for purchases made on third-party websites, for prices or availability of products listed in wishes, or for content added by other users.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, in particular for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor your rights as a consumer.
7. Changes
If we change these terms in a significant way, we will let you know in the app at least 15 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can delete your account; by continuing to use the app after that date you accept the new version.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the courts of the place where you live have jurisdiction, and you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the EU country where you live. Before taking action, please write to us and we will try to solve the problem.
